For any of you who may have been wondering, "Is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" really as much of a mess as everybody says it is?" The answer is yes. It is. Director David Yates has taken one of the best books in the series and turned it into the Hogwarts equivalent of "Saved By The Bell". Muddled (oops. almost wrote "Muggled"), poorly edited, badly acted. Apparently Mr. Yates' brilliant idea was to take all the best parts of the book and make absolutely sure that none of them made it on screen. What a disappointment. And apparently David is also directing the final two installments of the series. Oh Happy Day!
